Mummy and Daddy are very happy that I am able to sleep through now. I will get my last feed at about 11pm with about 120ml of milk and I can now sleep all the way till about 7am. I love to sleep....

Hong Kong Without Me

Mummy and Daddy left for Hong Kong with Gor Gor Reuben today. The went to Hong Kong Disneyland and Ocean Park with Uncle Jason, Auntie Joanne and Jie Jie Janessa. This was a trip long overdue cos they were suppose to go to Disneyland Japan in April but had to cancel it because of the earthquake.

I am way too young to go along so Nai Nai has to look after me. I hope they have fun there and I look forward to the time I can go with Gor Gor Reuben to Disneyland Japan.

3rd Month Vaccination

I turn 3 months old today and Mummy and Daddy weren't very kind as they brought me for my vaccinations. We went to the Marine Parade Polyclinic at 8am and were the first in the queue as we had to rush back for Mummy's garage sale. Anyway, the nurse says I am 6.27kg and 59cm tall. That puts me in the 90th percentile for a baby girl my age. I think Daddy was secretly hoping I can be a model next time. Mummy doesn't think so. I had the Pneumococcal and 5 in One jab. It was painful and I cried my lungs out but only for about a min. Daddy says I am a brave girl.

We rushed back for Mummy's garage sale. She was putting a lot of the things I used to use for sale, like the bassinet, some toys and the breast feeding pillow. Surprisingly there was a couple who came by and bought quite a bit of things. He mentioned that the sale is better than Takashimaya! Unfortunately, dark clouds were forming and before we knew it, it started raining and Mummy and Daddy had to bring everything back into the house. That was the end of the garage sale for the day.

Gor Gor loves me

My Gor Gor Reuben is the sweetest guy. He loves me very much and he would always plant kisses on me every now and then. He would be very proud of me and would always show me off when we are out. He is also very protective and would not let anyone disturb me when I am sleeping in the stroller. I love you too Gor Gor.

A Trip to the Jetty

We had breakfast at the Beach Road Prawn Noodles with Ye Ye this morning and on our way home, Daddy and Mummy decided to take a walk at the Bedok Jetty. It was my first trip to the beach and although I was confined to the pram most of time, I could tell Gor Gor Reuben was having lots of fun. He insisted on pushing my pram from the car park to the jetty but once he got to the jetty, he was distracted by the many fishermen and their catch of the day.

At one point, there was a huge commotion cos one of the fisherman caught a big fish. Gor Gor Reuben was in the thick of the action as he ran to the front of the crowd to see the big fish. I cannot wait to run around with Gor Gor Reuben.

Bye Bye Lan Po Po

The real test begins today when Lan Po Po leaves after taking care of me and Mummy for 28 days. According to Mummy, she had been wonderful with her dishes, her invaluable advices and most of all with how she relieved Mummy and Daddy at night to sleep through.

Daddy drove Lan Po Po to Golden Mile where she will meet her son and catch the 9am bus ride back to her hometown in Ipoh.

We are so gonna miss her. Thank you Lan Po Po...

1 Month Party

Some call it Full Moon Party, others call it One Month Party, but whatever it's called, I made it through 30 days on planet Earth. And to celebrate this joyous occasion, Daddy and Mummy have decided to do what they did for Gor Gor Reuben and that is to have one party for friends and another for relatives tomorrow.

For friends, we had it at 15 Minutes @ Lasalle School of Fine Arts, the same place Gor Gor Reuben had his 1 year birthday bash. Mummy and Daddy like the place cos it is spacious and the food and prices are very reasonable.

We were delighted that Uncle Peter agreed to help capture the moments. Thank you Uncle Peter. Thanks also to Aunty Sha from 15 Minutes who did another wonderful job with the party arrangements.

Well, I can only say that Daddy and Mummy had a great time catching up with all their friends as the 9 months of pregnancy have pretty much kept them at home to make sure that Mummy doesn't tire out. Thank you all uncles and aunties for your presents and ang pows, and most of all for your presence.

Enjoy the photographs...

Gor Gor Reuben is the sweetest

I remember when I was first introduced to everyone about 3 weeks ago, Gor Gor Reuben wasn't very thrilled with my presence as he probably feared that Mummy and Daddy will have less time for him. Mummy and Daddy would tell everyone that he is still in denial of my presence, so much so he wouldn't even go near me. Well, things have really changed over the last 3 weeks and I must say Gor Gor Reuben has fully embraced me, much to the delight of Mummy and Daddy. He is very sweet and caring and every time I cried, he would run to my bassinet, put one hand over me, and he would say, "It's ok Mei Mei Andrea, I am here, I am here" I know he loves me very much and he will always tell me, "I love you Mei Mei Andrea" Isn't he the sweetest guy!

Thank you Uncle Fandi

I am so happy with the photos that Uncle Fandi took of us at the hospital. He even framed 2 photos up for us and I must say it was very well done. Thank you Uncle Fandi. According to Gor Gor Reuben, he is very cool and even goes by the name of Uncle Rock Star cos he has a band too. When I grow up, maybe I can go jamming with him and his band.

Getting a tan..

I have a little jaundice and Lan Po Po decided that I should get some sun. It must be in the morning at 8am and for not more than 15 mins. I have to do this for a couple of days to get rid of the jaundice. Daddy saw me and was kinda jealous that I get to have a tan. He cannot remember the last time he enjoyed a sun tan.

First Bath..

Today I had my first bath at home. Mummy was suppose to use some herbs from Eu Yan Sang but they don't have it here in Singapore so Mummy got Aunty Mei to get it from Eu Yan Sang in KL. Meanwhile, I am bathing in some chinese tea leaves from China which Nai Nai bought during her last trip. Daddy is having second thoughts about drinking Nai Nai's tea now.

And check out how I cannot wait to stand up! Am I strong or what? what....

First Day Home

I was discharged from the hospital today after all the checks were completed and except for a little jaundice, I am perfectly good. Nai Nai was waiting for me at home and had lunch ready for Mummy and Daddy. I saw my new bed and was excited to sleep in it as it looks very pretty and dainty. Apparently Mummy and Daddy decided I will sleep in here for about 3 months before shifting me to the bigger cot bed.

I slept most of the day after I got home and only got up twice to feed.

Daddy went to pick the confinement lady who took a bus into Singapore from Ipoh. She was recommended by Aunty Mei Mei who was impressed with her cooking. Mummy and Daddy is looking forward to some yummy food from Lan Po Po.

I was quite different in the evening as I got up almost every other hour to feed. Apparently I would ask for milk but when Mummy got me ready to feed, I would fall asleep and would not wake up. As such, I would get hungry very quickly and demanded for milk again. And for some reason, I had lots of crap and had to change my diapers 6 times last night! Mummy and Daddy was almost going crazy.

I am finally here!

Time of arrival: 3.58pm on 3rd September 2011. I weigh 3.005kg and measure 51cm with head circumference of 34cm.

Mummy was admitted to Mount Alvernia at about 1pm today after settling my Stemcord application at Gleneagles Hospital. Unfortunately Mummy didn't really get the room she wanted but at least this one isn't as bad as the one they placed her in before delivering Gor Gor Reuben at Gleneagles.

Mummy was wheeled into the operating theatre at about 3pm and by the time the preparation was completed and Daddy was asked into the room, it was about 3.45pm. At 3.58pm, Daddy saw Dr Cheng pull me out of Mummy and everyone was very happy the operation went very smoothly.

I was then cleaned up and brought to the nursery to be weighed and measured. After which, I was placed under a warmer to keep warm and adjust to the surrounding while Daddy went to make sure Mummy was alright.

It was about 5.30pm when I was reunited with Mummy and Daddy in the room. That was when I had my first dose of fresh milk. As it tasted new to me, I didn't have much of it. I seem to prefer sleep over milk and slept most of the time after that. I spent a little time with Mummy and Daddy in the room before I was sent back to the nursery while Mummy got her much needed rest.

In the evening, I finally got to meet Gor Gor Reuben together with Nai Nai and Ye Ye. Gor Gor wasn't very excited about meeting me but I guess he was just not sure how to react to me. Even the Dora present I got for him didn't really help warm him up. However, I am sure he will soon realise I am the best sister in the world!

Ma Ma and Gong Gong also came to see me with Cindy Yee Yee, Jie Jie Faith, Gor Gor Asher and Uncle Ivan. Justine Kim Kim also brought Gor Gor Elijah and Jie Jie Esther to visit me. I had lots of attention!

Week #36

With exactly 17 days left in here, I now weigh 2.8kg and Mummy weighs 54.3kg. Doctor Cheng says I am doing very well and healthy. And before Mummy and Daddy could ask him, he confirms that it is still gonna be a girl. The thing is, everyone who looked at Mummy thinks she is gonna have a boy. Well, I guess I am special and will just surprise everyone.

Gor Gor Reuben has been very sweet and constantly ask about me and would kiss Mummy's tummy. I can't wait to play with him and learn all the cool tricks from  him. Love you too Gor Gor Reuben.

Week #34

Mummy went for her maternity shoot today with Aunty Maryann of Studio Loft. Daddy and Gor Gor Reuben were there too as her supporting cast. It was a very hot day but that didn't dampen their excitement for the shoot. They got some pretty nice shots at the studio and everyone had a tiring but fun session.

After the photo shoot, Mummy went for her check up with Dr Cheng and found out that I have grown from 1.8kg 3 weeks ago to 2.5kg now. Mummy is now 53.4kg and she is hoping she won't put on too much weight in the next 4 weeks before I am delivered.

Week #31

I have now been in here for about 31 weeks and I weigh about 1.8kg. Mummy weighs about 51.8kg which is like 2kg above her original weight before I was conceived. A date has been fixed for me to be delivered and it will be the 3rd of September 2011. I cannot wait to be out because it is getting a bit cramp in here. I will be delivered at the Mount Alvernia Hospital instead of Geneagles Hospital where Kor Kor Reuben was delivered cos Mummy and Daddy have been impressed with their rooms and services. For some reason, I am very active at night and has been kicking Mummy while she is sleeping.
