We had breakfast at the Beach Road Prawn Noodles with Ye Ye this morning and on our way home, Daddy and Mummy decided to take a walk at the Bedok Jetty. It was my first trip to the beach and although I was confined to the pram most of time, I could tell Gor Gor Reuben was having lots of fun. He insisted on pushing my pram from the car park to the jetty but once he got to the jetty, he was distracted by the many fishermen and their catch of the day.
At one point, there was a huge commotion cos one of the fisherman caught a big fish. Gor Gor Reuben was in the thick of the action as he ran to the front of the crowd to see the big fish. I cannot wait to run around with Gor Gor Reuben.
The real test begins today when Lan Po Po leaves after taking care of me and Mummy for 28 days. According to Mummy, she had been wonderful with her dishes, her invaluable advices and most of all with how she relieved Mummy and Daddy at night to sleep through.
Daddy drove Lan Po Po to Golden Mile where she will meet her son and catch the 9am bus ride back to her hometown in Ipoh.
Some call it Full Moon Party, others call it One Month Party, but whatever it's called, I made it through 30 days on planet Earth. And to celebrate this joyous occasion, Daddy and Mummy have decided to do what they did for Gor Gor Reuben and that is to have one party for friends and another for relatives tomorrow.
For friends, we had it at 15 Minutes @ Lasalle School of Fine Arts, the same place Gor Gor Reuben had his 1 year birthday bash. Mummy and Daddy like the place cos it is spacious and the food and prices are very reasonable.
We were delighted that Uncle Peter agreed to help capture the moments. Thank you Uncle Peter. Thanks also to Aunty Sha from 15 Minutes who did another wonderful job with the party arrangements.
Well, I can only say that Daddy and Mummy had a great time catching up with all their friends as the 9 months of pregnancy have pretty much kept them at home to make sure that Mummy doesn't tire out. Thank you all uncles and aunties for your presents and ang pows, and most of all for your presence.
I remember when I was first introduced to everyone about 3 weeks ago, Gor Gor Reuben wasn't very thrilled with my presence as he probably feared that Mummy and Daddy will have less time for him. Mummy and Daddy would tell everyone that he is still in denial of my presence, so much so he wouldn't even go near me. Well, things have really changed over the last 3 weeks and I must say Gor Gor Reuben has fully embraced me, much to the delight of Mummy and Daddy. He is very sweet and caring and every time I cried, he would run to my bassinet, put one hand over me, and he would say, "It's ok Mei Mei Andrea, I am here, I am here" I know he loves me very much and he will always tell me, "I love you Mei Mei Andrea" Isn't he the sweetest guy!
I am so happy with the photos that Uncle Fandi took of us at the hospital. He even framed 2 photos up for us and I must say it was very well done. Thank you Uncle Fandi. According to Gor Gor Reuben, he is very cool and even goes by the name of Uncle Rock Star cos he has a band too. When I grow up, maybe I can go jamming with him and his band.
I have a little jaundice and Lan Po Po decided that I should get some sun. It must be in the morning at 8am and for not more than 15 mins. I have to do this for a couple of days to get rid of the jaundice. Daddy saw me and was kinda jealous that I get to have a tan. He cannot remember the last time he enjoyed a sun tan.
Today I had my first bath at home. Mummy was suppose to use some herbs from Eu Yan Sang but they don't have it here in Singapore so Mummy got Aunty Mei to get it from Eu Yan Sang in KL. Meanwhile, I am bathing in some chinese tea leaves from China which Nai Nai bought during her last trip. Daddy is having second thoughts about drinking Nai Nai's tea now.
And check out how I cannot wait to stand up! Am I strong or what? what....
