I have been taking swimming lessons from Coach Gary for more than a year now and I have vastly despite it is only one lesson a week. And since there was going to be a swimming competition in school, Daddy thought it will be a good idea for me to get some experience since he used to have lots of fun when he was younger going for swimming competition.
I entered for the 50m Breaststroke and 50m Freestyle and the competition was held over 2 days. Breaststroke was first and I didn't have much confidence in this event. In fact I didn't even know how to dive in to start the race and had to get Coach Gary to teach me the day before the competition. And I have never swam in any competition before in front of such a big crowd. Nonetheless I surprised myself and came in 3rd for this event. The following week, I came in third again for the 50m Freestyle and unfortunately Daddy was not there to watch me swim as he had to be overseas on business. He was very proud of me that I was very brave and swam my best.
I am looking forward to the swimming competition next year and told Mummy and Daddy that I would like to participate again.
